When
running a retail business, it's almost impossible to avoid taking credit cards as payment
for products. People have them and want to use them. This world is replacing checks and
cash with cards for convenience and protection. This is especially true of running a
business on the Web. The primary way of paying for products and services is via credit
card. It's a rare case that a Web-based retail business can avoid processing credit cards.

Always be careful of the purchase where the credit card
billing address and shipping address do not match and the shipping address is in a
different country or the shipping address is a P. O. Box location instead of a real street
address. In such instances, you may want to check with the credit card company to verify
that the card is not stolen. |
